Abbye Haines '25 Recruiting Profile

I started playing softball when I was five years old and from the moment I first stepped on the dirt I truly fell in love with the sport. I am currently a Junior at Alameda High in Alameda, California. I play for both Clutch Up Softball Academy and Alameda high school’s varsity team. I mainly play 1st base, but I am also a true utility and can play everywhere except pitcher and catcher.I believe I’m a great asset to any team because of my flexibility and ability to play anywhere on the field. I am a committed, hardworking player, who always gives 110%. I am dedicated to not only softball but also my academics. My passion and love for the sport pushes me to the best I can be on and off the field.
