Brooke Baeyens '16 Recruiting Profile

I have always dreamed about being a teacher and playing college softball for the majority of my life. I've played softball back since I was 7 years old and I've had a passion for it every step of the way. Playing softball in college would be a life time goal achieved, I wouldn't be able to put words in my mouth if some coach emailed me and said they want ME. I've dreamed about getting THAT email from THAT school and just feeling like all my hard work and training has finally paid off and now I'm off to college playing the game of a lifetime.

Once I get to that point another one of my goals is to major in education (teaching) and eventually become a high school math teacher. Getting to that point will be a challenge but my ambition is strong.

I am a person that loved to help other people, I consider myself as someone who likes to help other people before myself. I attend a Christian church called Grace Lutheran and have been apart of that since I was three years of age. I have helped out in numerous ways over the years to helping the elderly, beach clean ups, mission trips, and wrapping presents for the children that are underprivileged.
