Kaitlyn Knobbe '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Kaitlyn Knobbe and I am in my senior year (class of 2023) at Ocean View High School in Huntington Beach, California.  My goal is to graduate from college with an education in Business and a minor in English. I love the game of softball and I want to use that love for the sport to attend college and achieve the goals I have set for myself. 

I am a focused student that loves to read and learn. I work hard and meet my deadlines. I am open-minded and ask for help when needed. I am a total team player and encourage my teammates always. I have strong convictions and am very loyal. I am fortunate to have the support of my parents, brother and family to pursue my dream of playing softball in college. I want to be able to contribute and help give back to youth sports and be a positive role model for all young athletes. 

I currently take IB and honor classes. I am enrolled in the Business Academy program at my school and I have a GPA of 4.21.  I have been a  member of my high school Varsity  Softball team, since freshman year.  My sophmore year we won the CIF Division 5 Championship for Southern California. It was an honor to play along with my teammates and bring the victory back to our school.  I have been the Max Preps Player of the game 4 times and my named me High Scholls athlete of the month for May 2022.  I was named All League 2nd team as a junior and starting pitcher.
