Ivy Mendez Orozco '24 Recruiting Profile

I started playing softball sophomore year. I started playing pitcher for the first time and since then I've improved a lot. With only year of experience, and played the summer and fall league at my local park, I am now on the Varsity squad at my hight school. I am a very hard working person and I see things differently. When I lose a game, I take it as a reflection and what can I do to improve. When I win a game, I train harder so I can win the next. before I pitch or when I'm fielding, I always think and know what I'm going to do with the ball. I may not be the brightest person sometimes but I will not give up until I try. I'm a determined player and person in general.
