Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Shelby Morse and I am seventeen years old. My passion is to play the sport I love, softball. My number one goal in life is to succeed at anything I put my mind to, either on the softball field or in the classroom. Academically, my goal is to major in political science and/or journalism and become a journalist. Academics are just as important, if not more, than softball. That is why I maintaina high GPA and take a load of some honors and AP classes. Softball is my home away from home; my team being my second family. I will do anything and everything to make sure I am fulfilling my role on and off the field with my team, and make sure I leave everything on the field.
