Hello, my name is Jaella Ann Mercado, and I'm a junior at Bishop O'Dowd! I love softball and have been playing since the first grade. I also played club volleyball at NorCal Volleyball for several years and represent my high school. I switched to the left side in the eighth grade and love any outfield position. Educationally, I am a four-time honor-roll student, taking 2 APs and 2 Honor classes this year. As a student-athlete, I am academic-oriented, in student government, and participate in the ambassador program. After high school, I plan to work hard and pursue higher education in the Medical Field or Environmental Engineering. I hope to get a full-ride scholarship to the right college that challenges me academically and athletically.
