I have made it a priority for myself to find a school that will not only fulfill my dreams of becoming a college softball player, but also a school that will support me in my journey(and long-term goal) of becoming a pediatric surgeon. My high school life has been one of balancing three sports while maintaining an unweighted 4.0 GPA. Although sports are a main priority of mine they will always come second to my academics. Having my priorities straight is a reoccurring theme in my character. Such as, placing my teammates before myself. I believe a great team is one that is supportive of each other and works together, rather than one player being a star, carrying the team to victory. A team should feel like a second family, not a never-ending competition to see who is better.
