Tiare Rieger '22 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a junior at High Tech High School in San Diego, Ca. I am a straight A student and part of the graduating class of 2022. I play travel softball for the So-Cal Athletics Marinakis/Jaquish 18u National Team and my primary positions are 3B and MI, but can play other positions as needed. I am a 3 year varsity starter on my high school softball team. I am also on America's team, which is a softball ambassador program where we tour internationally and play softball teams in other countries to include that countries Jr. National and/or National softball teams. With Americas Team I have traveled to Germany,  Austria,  Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and the Dominican Republic to play and represent the USA. During these trips we also participate in community service and tour local facilities to learn more about the people and cultures of those countries and what we can do currently and in the future to foster understanding and relationships with those countries. I have been asked to return for an upcoming tour which will take place in Italy in 2021. I am currently interested in studying Forensic Science or sports medicine in college and hope to explore more about this as my major. I am very determined, hard working, interested in learning new ways to improve myself, and always striving for improvement in both athletics and academics and I feel that I am a leader in both aspects.
