Janiece Blackman '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi my name is Ja'Niece Blackman I've been playing softball since I was six starting on a mostly boys tee ball team the I continued to play rec ball. My dad has played baseball and football and my aunts, grandma, and great grandma has also played softball so I literally grew up around the sport. I generally play 1st, and outfield being my secondary position. In all the teams I've played on I have been deemed a power hitter and one of the best spirits. Softball is my passion and its what I love to do, I just love the team environment because they become your family overtime  and being around people that have the same passions as me motivates me to keep going.

I don't really know that I want to major in at the moment but I know I want it to be something that displays my creativity and my love for assisting others.
