Mae Martin '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

my name is Mae Martin and I am currently a senior at Monte Vista Christian School (MVCS) with a current GPA of 3.8.

I have played softball for a combined total of 8 years  including 5-6 years of travel softball. I am currently the starting pitcher for my high school varsity team, the MVCS Mustangs. I also currently pitch for the Salinas Enforcers Travel Team and play first base as well. My awards include the PCAL First Team All-League Award (2023), the "Heart of a Mustang Award" from MVCS (2023), the PCAL All Sportsmanship Team Chamberlin Award (2022), and the PCAL Cypress League Champions Award (2023). I was also the league leader in K's with 133, and in wins with 15 for the 2023 season.

For the 2023 season, as of July 19th, MaxPreps has me ranked 138th in the state for strikeouts, 51st in the state for wins, and 405th in the US for wins. My positions include pitcher and first base. My pitching coach is Kim Reeder who has been my coach for the last 3 years.

My ultimate goals are to graduate with a masters degree or higher, and to become a professional in the medical field.
