Avery Garbarek '22 Recruiting Profile

I'm a utility and also a RHP, but my primary focus is on fielding positions, and I’m utilized for pitching when needed. I can throw 63 mph consistently underhand, and my top speed overhand is 70 mph. My best pitches are my rise and curve, and I have two very effective offspeed pitches (flip change and offspeed curve). I’m also a right-handed power hitter and I’m willing to play anywhere in the infield or outfield. I have the most experience in the OF 2nd, & 1st base.  I have come to realize that I thrive in an environment where I am consistently challenged by high-level coaching and surrounded by a strong, competitive culture. I’m looking for a program where I can continue growing as a player and contribute at a high level for my final senior season.
