July 2014"If you love that 3-2 pitch, the diving catch, the dirt in your hair, the face of your opponent, and that slide into home that won the game, but also gave you one horrible bruise... Then you're a true softball player." - Unknown
I believe that character is built every time I step onto the field, and a ball player is built through every nail biting game. I don't back out of a challenge and I never scare away from every pitch. I work hard wall year round to make myself and I push myself exceeding my limits to go further in the game. A wise man told me "You will never remember the trophies that you win, but you will remember all of the good times you had playing ball." I believe this to be true. Every time I go out onto the field I try to make myself a better player and a better leader. A leader is not defined by who goes into the scary tunnel first or by the person who coaches everybody. A leader is one who supports his or her team and carries the team to a victory or a loss with their head up and a smile on their face. I am a leader of my team, as one of my biggest goals and achievements in life.
