It has been my dream since I was a little kid to become a collegiate athlete. I want to play at a four-year college with a good academic program. Softball is often times a humbling sport, so when I mess up I make a point to understand what I did, learn from it and flush it. I may be small, but I have a strong arm and can hit the ball hard. I am very driven, and I hit in my basement almost every night. I am not afraid of a hard work and vigor. I give every practice and workout everything I have so I can be better at the sport I love. I also give back to my community by helping out at my local food bank. I raised more than $1,200 for the food bank during my 8th grade school year and I volunteer almost every month. I also participate in my local 4-H club where I do community service projects often. Academics are very important as well. My first year of high school, I finished with a 4.0 GPA taking all of the higher learning classes in the IB Program. These International Baccalaureate (IB) courses which will enable me to graduate high school with 24 college credits. I have always played softball with players older than I am, so I know how to hold my own and keep my composure. I hope you think that I am right for your program. Thank you for taking me into consideration.
