Payton Torres '25 Recruiting Profile

 Hi my name is Payton Torres. I’m a 2025 pitcher and utility player. I am a very driven, confident, hardworking and coachable player/person. I strive to be the best I can be not only in my athletics but also in my schooling and personal life! I have played many sports over the years either at a club or high school level and have had a leadership role on almost all my teams. I like to push myself in everything I do, including my academics. I have a 4.3 GPA and I’m in all honors and college level classes. Going to college to play the sport I love and getting a degree in engineering/business has always been a goal of mine. I love community and being able to connect with everyone I meet. My family has been a home to over 30 foster kids in the last 14 years. In that time I was given the chance to be not only a foster sister, but a supporter, friend and role model in those kids life’s. I love meeting and serving people in my community, I do this by volunteering at my church and school. By volunteer coaching youth cheer and reffing youth basketball. Overall I am a hardworking, caring and driven person, andI strive to have the chance to further my life in all aspects in college.
