Olivia Litzen '23 Recruiting Profile

Playing college softball is currently my biggest goal. I aspire for a balance in academics and athletics in a school. I put as much effort into my academics as I do in athletics, and my academics mean a lot to me. I am a part of the STEM program (science, technology, engineering, and math) at my High School. As a catcher my goals are not only improvement of myself but also improvement of my pitchers and other teammates. As a catcher, I see myself in a major leadership position. My leadership and vocalness are qualities that pull me apart from others. I enjoy the process of practicing, working hard, and getting better. I am a competitive gymnast which has always helped me to stand out because of everything I have learned. I have learned discipline, how to deal with failure, body awareness, and learned how to compete individually and as a team. I have become a well rounded athlete because of gymnastics. I am passionate about catching and I enjoy the work it takes in order to get better.
