Ayva Caruso '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ayva Caruso and I'm a 5'8 hardworking and motivated softball player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I'm an athlete who knows the game of softball.  I have been on the varsity softball team at my high school since my freshmen year. Knowing that I'm capable of playing softball in college makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard and never give up.  I promise to leave my all on the field every time I step on to it.  I began playing softball when i was 11 years old, and quickly learned it was unlike other sports. Softball requires a true love and undeniable mental and physically strength. This was one of the reasons I was so drawn to the sport and don’t see myself giving up the game after high school  

When it comes to choosing what school I would like to go to, my options are very big. I mainly am looking at north east colleges, but I am very open to going anywhere. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play softball I will be happy. My top two choices for a major as of right now is either psychology and criminology.
