Julia Oakes '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Julia Oakes and softball is one of the most important aspects of my life. I have  been playing since fourth grade when I asked my dad to have a catch and I have never stopped. My goal is to continue to improve in softball and not give up when I make mistakes. I used to struggle with recovering from mistakes and errors and I have worked to a point where when I make a mistake I only want to get the next play even more. Softball is my passion and small goals like these help me to elevate my game bit by bit until I am the best I can be but still continue to grow.
