Ever since I was six, softball has always played a big part in my life. Once I started playing on the filed, I have aspired to play at the collegiate level. Moving forward with softball through college has always been a dream of mine and would be a lifetime opportunity also. This opportunity will change my life.
I have always been a leader, from middle school through high school. I always strive to be a better player, even if it means improving my hitting, fielding and throwing. I am always the player that helps my teammates and helps them improve and learn just like I did. Since softball has always been a part of my life, I know working hard gets you where you want to be and opens more doors for you. I have been on Wilbur Cross high school varsity softball team Oronoque division, Class L, ever since I was a freshman, which gives an example of my hard work along with being in the New Haven register newspaper for how I play in my games.
Not only do I try hard in softball, but also in academics. In school, I study and work hard to get the grades that show me as a student. I am also a member of the Key Club and volunteer at an elderly home.
I want to attend a college where I can grow as a student and also a player with a new team. I want to find the right college that matches my level of competition. I hope to become a better player, role model to all my peers and make my parents proud after all my hard work
