Lauren Schurman '23 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I began playing softball when I was eight, I have been finding ways to improve and better myself out of the love of the sport. Softball has taught me how to be resilient and overcome obstacles such as defeat and self-doubt. I believe one of my biggest strengths is being a team player. I know, along with my teammates, that I am able to work not just for myself, but for my team. I am also known to be a perfectionist and am extremely dedicated to reaching my goals and doing my best. I realize how important my education is so I hope to find a program that I can study my preferred major, veterinary science. Like softball, I am committed to doing my best in school and always give 100% effort.
