Emma Gilmore '23 Recruiting Profile

      My name is Emma Gilmore from a small town of Bratt, Florida.  I will be graduating Northview High School class of 2023.  I have a strong commitment to the game of softball and earning high grades to prepare for my college education.  

     I grew up with strong family values that embraced the game of softball.  I had no idea the first time I stepped on the mound, that I would find an instant passion for pitching.  From age nine, I looked for every opportunity to learn and play softball through recreational, travel, and high school softball.  I love nothing more than leading my team successfully on the mound.  My pitches have natural movement that many batters find difficult to make contact.  I believe in teamwork with players and my coaches.  My goal as a pitcher, is to put in extra time and preparation to strengthen my teams success.  When I am not pitching, I feel confident being a utility player.  I have also worked hard to be a consistent power hitter on my team.  

     I look forward to achieving my goal of playing softball in collage while earning a degree in Dentistry/ Orthodontics.  I look forward to being part of a collage team that focuses on team integrity and academic achievements.
