Leea Hanks '19 Recruiting Profile

I have a strong desire to compete at the highest level, both academically and athletically.  My goal is to find an institution that can offer the best of both worlds.  Since 1st grade, I've maintained a 4.0 gpa.  I'm extremely proud of that fact.  Now that softball has become a huge part of my life, I'm beginning to really appreciate what it takes to be a successful student athlete.  With a rigorous schedule including batting practice, speed and agility training, and defensive training, it takes a special commitment to maintain a high academic standard.  I must say that my parents and siblings have played an important role in my success up to this point.  Also, my club coaches and specialty coaches have played a major role in my development and I'm greatly appreciative.  Whatever college I attend, they should take comfort in knowing that they will be getting a hardworking triple threat lefty that loves the game and everything it offers!!
