I think that playing team sports has taught me important life lessons about collaboration and resilience.  I began playing softball and basketball at the age of six.  Participating in sports throughout my life has shaped me into the person I am today - confident, hard-working, and goal-oriented.  I am interested in pursuing an Engineering degree in connection with a liberal arts education.  And I hope to continue to build my character through softball, the game I love to play.
