My name is Morgan Cannon. My softball career started when I was 7 years old and started playing with the leisure services here in Bainbridge. I quickly found a passion for the sport, and so I stuck with it. I played softball both years of middle school and I am currently still playing for my high school and plan on playing for as long as I can. This is where college softball comes in. I do not want to just stop playing softball after I graduate. I want to play at the next level. I began catching when I was almost thirteen and the very moment I stepped behind that plate I knew that that was where I was meant to be. When I am playing softball I become someone else. Softball has given me self-confidence and a new respect for leadership. I have become a leader on and off the field and I hope to be that leader playing at the next level.
