Samantha “Sam” Minish '24 Recruiting Profile

I have grown up at a softball field my entire life. From the time I was a baby until now, softball has been a great part of my life. At an early age, I was always excited to go to the field, play in the dugouts, and watch my dad play in adult leagues. Watching him inspired me to be the ballplayer I am today. I have been playing travel softball since I was nine years old, playing up an age division to play with my sister.

I moved teams to play with girls my age and settled on GA Impact Lunsford who is now Mojo Lunsford. The girls on this team, are my friends. I love playing the game of softball and I love playing it with them.

I look forward to continuing my love of softball at the collegiate level, and I am excited to see where this journey takes me. When asked what makes me different than other players, I really dont know what to say. Im just me. Im happy with who God made me and don't try to be anything different or try to fit in with a crowd. I've always been told at a young age, I beat to my own drum.
