2022 Highlights
2022 Highlights #2My name is Jasmine Grant, I'm 5'7" / 155lbs, & a hardworking softball player. I'm truly dedicated to this sport. I'm an athlete who knows the game , studies the game, & wants to continue growing my talents in the game. My most important accomplishments were being nominated for player of the year in the Augusta Area High School Sports as a freshman and making Second Team of the All-Region during the 2021-2022 season. Knowing that I'm capable of playing softball in college on any platform makes me more passionate for this sport. What I can offer to a team is the promise to always work hard, outwork my opponent, continue to develop through training, to impact my teammates, and never give up.
When it comes to choosing what school, my options are very big. I mainly am looking at east coast states (Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, etc.) but I am very open to going anywhere. I am open minded about colleges and hope to just find a college that fits me best. It doesn't matter about the size or location; if I can receive a good education and play softball, I will be happy. My top two choices for a major as of right now is either Elementary Education or Special Education. However, my major may change over the course of the rest of my high school career.
My realistic athletic goals are to continue playing the sport I love at a higher competition level. Another goal of mine is to make an impact on the team and to younger girls. Knowing at the end of the day that I made a difference and tried my hardest would keep a smile on my face.
Outside of softball things I love are my parents, my 2 sisters, playing with my dog, my family, attending church, hanging out with friends, watching college softball, playing on my travel ball team, fishing with my dad, attending beautiful girls (this is a ministry at my church that teaches young ladies how to be successful women), and learning how to cook.
