Meredith Durden '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was five years old. Since I first stepped on the diamond, I have wanted to play at the collegiate level. I know that playing softball at that level is a once in a lifetime opportunity that few women achieve. I have dedicated myself to making my dream come true.

I am a team leader. I try to be a role model by example. I also try to be my teammates’ biggest cheerleader. I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players on the field. I will take these skills to the college level. I believe I will be one of the hardest working recruits you will encounter.

Off the field, I dedicate myself to my studies and maintain a high GPA. I volunteer at my school, am a member of FCA, sit on our student government and participate in my church’s youth group.

I want to attend a university where I can pursue a degree that will allow me to succeed in life while also allowing me to play softball at the highest possible level of competition. I believe that if I stay driven to be the best student and player I can, my dream will come true.
