Jordan Turner '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jordan Turner and I am a 2025 graduate at Apalachee High School. I've grown up playing softball, it's been my life since I was 6 years old. My parents were both athletes growing up and have had a big impact in my life, both in sports, academics, and my character.  At the age of 10 is when I started to take softball seriously and started to put in the work. At that age I set the goal of playing collegiate softball.  I have been playing at a high level of softball since I was 11. I am always up for a trip to the hitting cages or to catch one of my friends at their pitching lessons. 

I have been told by many coaches that I am a natural leader and strive in that position. I also feel that my natural leadership is what helps me succeed as a catcher. I always try to hold my teammates to a high standard while still being uplifting and positive. I also hold myself to a very high standard. I am always giving 110% whether I'm hitting into a net at home or running the bases.

I excel in the classroom as well. I have had all A's throughout middle school and will strive to stay an A student in High School. Before the pandemic, I was involved in my school's Drama program as well as the Track and Field team.  I excelled in both of these activities and still use skills from both of these that have affected my overall character in a positive way.
