Alexis Oshiro '22 Recruiting Profile

    Throughout my life, I've always made goals for myself and have worked hard to achieve them. Some of my recent goals have consisted of  making my varsity softball team as a freshman, and continuing to get a 4.0 GPA in school. During my freshman year, not only did I make it onto varsity, but I led my team in on base percentage, and was second in both hits and batting average. My dedication, leadership, and hard work was recognized by league representatives/coaches, and I was voted to the 2019 Oahu Interscholastic Association First Team east. I was the only freshman in my league to be awarded with First Team honors.  

    Academically, I have found a way to balance school work with my extracurricular activities, and my dedication and focus has been rewarded with a 4.0 GPA in high school thus far. In the future, I would love to be a pharmacist or something in the medical field because I feel I can make a positive impact in patients'  health and well-being. 

    Beyond high school, my goal is to compete in softball at the college level, not only because I love the sport, but I feel I have the passion, drive and work ethic to be an asset to any organization. I'm looking for a team that stresses the importance of teamwork, hard work, and competitiveness, but I am also looking for a school with a good learning environment.  

    I am excited for the opportunities that hopefully lie ahead!
