Personal Statement
Softball is my passion and has been since I was about 9 years old when I started playing club softball. I have been pitching for about 9 years. I have always been the youngest player on all of my teams and started for Varsity in 2018 as a Freshman and again in 2019. In 2019 I helped my team become District Champions and finish as Runners Up at the State Championship. I led our conference in RBIs. I started on Varsity in 2020 as a Junior and will again in 2021 as a Senior for my new school in a larger conference. I'm a true utility as I have played all positions and can transition from the outfield, to infield or just as easily transition from the mound to taking control of the game from behind the plate. I take pride in being a good student and work hard in the classroom. I love math and science and took honors science courses as a freshman, dual credit Biology as a sophomore, and now dual credit Chemistry as a Junior. I am headstrong on the field and I am always striving to be a better and stronger player all around. I hit the gym hard and have already broken 3 school lifting records out of the 5. I hope to hold all 5 records by the end of this year! I am a huge vocal leader for my team, a great team player, and am always promoting positivity and energy with my teammates. I am always looking to improve myself and am very coachable. I'm more than willing to help my team by hitting to opposite field for power or laying a sac bunt down the third baseline. It has been my dream for as long as I can remember to play at the next level while in college pursuing my academic goals.
