Living my softball dream will help me further my education to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a doctor. Sports have always been a huge part of my life. I’m a successful three sport athlete, who has served as captain in every sport, while maintaining a high GPA in the classroom. 

I am a strong, natural born leader who cheers on my teammates to empower them to be the best they can be. I am a very approachable and understanding person who people can trust for help and guidance. I’m a person who will stand up for what I believe in, even if it means I stand alone. Since I’m a quick learner, I’m able to receive criticism and make the adjustments asked of me. I’m currently in my third year of travel ball. I’m not only a shortstop and pitcher, but a utility player who can fill any position that is needed to help my team reach success. I always give 110%, until the game is over no matter what the game situation is. Having a winning mentality is always key to winning tough games. 

I believe with my drive and dedication athletically and academically, I will be able to succeed and achieve my goals. I am a player of my word and I believe that it’s what a player ultimately does, not what she says she can do that matters. I believe in the end, hard work and practice will always beat talent. I will work hard every day at and outside of practice to be the best I can for my team. I have always strived to inspire people. I want someone to look at me one day and say, “You’re the reason I never gave up.”
