Anna Maciejewski '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball for as long as I can remember. As soon as I stepped onto that field I instantly fell in love with the game. Since then, my goal has been to play softball at the college level and I wasn’t going to let anything stop me from reaching that goal. As with anything I do, I plan to give my all in order to succeed.

I have had great exposure to and coaching of the mental side of the game, and I believe that I have great communication skills. In addition, I am a leader, friend and the best teammate I can be, on and off the field. I am focused on bringing positivity throughout the game and motivating my teammates to always play hard. Along with that, I believe that my personality makes me very coachable, and I strive consistently to improve my skills, mentally and physically.

But softball isn’t my only goal. I also want to thrive in the classroom. I have studied very hard throughout high school, and I hold a 3.2 GPA. I also have participated and taken leadership roles in many different clubs and activities around my school, such as art club, the school newspaper, and drama club.

In the future, I hope college continues to transform me into the best person I can be, and I want to find a college that will best fit me academically and athletically. Therefore, I aspire to become a successful student athlete and grow as a person overall, as I search for this new chapter in my life.
