Hi, my name is Hailey Rothstein and I am a Junior at James B. Conant High School, graduating class of 2015.
I have played softball ever since I was in kindergarten. I started playing travel softball at the age of nine years old, and have been playing ever since. I am very passionate about the game of softball. I also played volleyball and basketball my freshman year. I was asked to play on the varsity basketball team as a freshman. I enjoyed the experience of playing with upperclassmen and bonding as a team. The most important thing to me is playing with a group of girls who are competitive and respect the game of softball. Ever since I was very young, I have dreamed of playing softball in college. Academics are also a very important aspect of the college experience, and I maintain a 3.6 GPA. I feel that having played on a travel team while maintaining good grades will help me be able to manage both academics and athletics throughout high school, and in college. Being a multi-sport athlete also helps this. However, this year I have decided to only focus on softball. I am Currently interested in the field of sports medicine, and possibly coaching softball at the high school level. I would love to hear from various divisions of colleges!
