Meghan Murtaugh '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Meghan Murtaugh, class of 2024 Junior at Lockport Township High School. Both of my parents played softball, which inspired me to play as well. I am heading into my 13th year and have had plenty of experience in the softball world. I am a starting shortstop, but also a utility player, with experience in both infield and outfield positions. I am dedicated to the sport and have put in many hours of extra work, conditioning myself to be a better athlete. Both on and off the field, I am extremely hard-working, and put 110% into everything I do. I have also always dreamed of being a part of a collegiate team. I am adaptable to a variety of environments and a friend to all. I have a weighted GPA of 4.00 and a cumulative GPA of 3.92. When I am not playing softball, I am usually Junior Coaching for a local 11U softball team or a 12U baseball team. Volunteering in the Softball/Baseball world has increased my desire and ambition for the sport, leading to my future goal of becoming a coach in softball.
