Although I love all sports and competition, softball is my passion. I believe that if you are not giving 100% all the time, you are disappointing your teammates and coaches and you might as well not show up at all. I have been playing softball for the last 10 years and it feels like home when I step onto the field. When I am on the mound everything else fades away and all I think about is performing to the best of my ability and helping my team win. My teammates are also a huge part of the game to me - they are more than just friends, they are the people I trust to have my back and they trust me to have theirs. My goal is to play softball at the college level and study the life sciences.
