My eighth grade year we went undefeated and got first in state. I pitched almost every game. There were only two pitchers on the team, the other pitcher was a seventh grader. Even though I got to pitch more than she did we didn't let that have differences between us we were both pitchers looking to be there for out team. We worked together on and off the field no matter what. There was a lot more experiences that year, it helped my become a better leader and role model for the classes below. Also I grew more and gained more confidence in not only the team but myself, and helped me believe that you have to sacrifice yourself for your team and work together. I always put my team first and myself second.
I learned teamwork, sacrifice, confidence, and leadership. I'm looking for a college that is good fit for me athletically and acedemically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic and leadership to be apart of the team. As a two-sport athlete I believe I have what it takes to be apart of the team.
