Cheyenne Thompson...I began my young career playing baseball as that is all that was available at the time in the town I lived in when I was little. At the age of 5 we moved and I was able to begin my softball career with city league. At the age of 10u I began playing travel softball and the work ethic was instilled in me by my parents and coaches to take my game to the next level. I currently play Class A Gold travel ball with Premier Fastpitch in Mattoon, Illinois and have set records at my high school at the softball field. Marshall High School's old career home run record in softball was 7 for an entire career and I currently hold the new record which is at 24 through my junior season. I strive for perfection with my glove, my bat, and the mental side of the game even though I realize that is not attainable.. but it gives me the drive to keep working to seek it regardless.
