Personal Statement
Softball plays a huge role in my personality and character. The game has taught me leadership skills, confidence, and the importance of a positive attitude. On and off the field I am extremely coachable and competitive, so my coaches can depend on me to lead the team. I was lucky enough to attend the USSSA All American Games last summer, and it taught me that there are lot of people striving for the same things as me. The Games made me put my goals in perspective and work harder than ever before.
I am very fortunate to have the full support of my family and friends, especially my parents, who push me to be a better person and athlete every day. School will always come before my softball career, and I am currently preparing to take as many Honors and AP classes as possible. In college, I would like to study to work in the medical field.
As the player that always pushes herself and her teammates to be the best version of themselves, I think that I could be a valuable asset to your team.
