Emma Reilly '22 Recruiting Profile

Reading the letter saying I made the varsity softball team was the highlight of my freshman year. Being on the varsity team has helped me grow as a student-athlete. This experience helped me realize that balancing school and softball was very important if I wanted to be successful. Playing with older girls and seeing them try their best to reach their goals of playing at the collegiate level helped me realize that I need to do the same, and focus my efforts on becoming a better player to be capable of playing at the collegiate level. 

I have been playing softball since I was 9 years old, and I’ve been in love with the game since. Throughout the years of playing, I have built teamwork and leadership skills. I am look for a program that will not only fit me athletically, but academically as well. I hope to have the talent and leadership skills that will not only impact the program, but will help me become a better athlete and student.
