Personal Statement
Being apart of the NCSA recruiting system as a freshman motivates me to strive to improve my skills everyday. Playing wreck ball for six years did not show my full potential. Joining an A travel team with older girls was the challenge I needed so I played with my heart and caught the coaches eye. My team took the Kentucky National Tournament Rings home with eleven team players and two inspirational coaches that pushed me to my prime. Fighting for the position of Center Field was the most difficult challenge. Not getting the outcome I intended to receive the first couple times made me grow as a player and re - focused my mind set as a person. I reminded myself on who I was and what I was capable of and the outcome was in my favor. My devotion for softball has always been immense and as well as how academics will always be important to me. My love for school will always come first because my education will provide new positive paths for my future.
Growing up in my family has been difficult but I never allowed that to prevent me from excelling in athletics, academics, and my personal growth. I show up to everything with a positive attitude and my heart is always in the right place, even when my mind is not. Growing up with successful athletes, strong leaders, and healthy contributors, forms me to be a solid athlete for your team!
