Leighton Boyd '28 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Leighton Boyd, and I am a 16 year old sophomore in high school. My freshman year I was a varsity starter for my high school team in left field. I finished my season batting cleanup and was named to the All-Conference Honorable Mention team. 

My current goals are to attend college while being able to continue my softball career. I have been playing softball since 8U and cannot imagine my life without it. I am no stranger to hard work and dedication for this sport. 

While my current career goals are not set in stone I am interested in studying forensic science and have aspirations to be a crime scene investigator. 

Due to aging out or teams disbanding I have found myself having to come in to a few teams as the "new kid", but my outgoing personality has insured that I have been able to make friends and a home on any team.
