Coming from a small school who has been struck with tragedy multiple times in one year, I have learned the true meaning of family. As a person and an athlete, that is one thing I value tremendously. Throughout my life, this core principle of family has always influenced how I play softball, starting from when I was a little 5-year-old playing t-ball to now playing competitive travel softball. Through playing softball for over 10 years I have learned what a positive attitude and a driven work ethic can do for you. Hard work is something I have learned to embrace and implement in my everyday life.
I have many goals that I am working to achieve before my time at Indian Creek High School comes to an end. Right now, I am a senior and currently one of my goals is to start and take on more of a leadership role on my high school team as well as my travel team, receive an All-Conference Award at some point in my high school career, and learn to trust myself more both in and out of athletics and academics. I'm looking for a college that fits me both athletically and academically. If able to play at the collegiate level, I guarantee hard work, dedication, positive attitude, and a hunger to become a better player and athlete every day I have the opportunity to play.
