Being the national champions in Ocean City Maryland had a huge impact on my softball career. I learned to be a team player and to keep fighting no matter how tired or I hot I was. We went from being in the losers bracket to winning 10 games in a row including the championship to win the whole thing. I’ve been playing softball probably since first grade and I knew that I loved the sport went I wanted to go to practice everyday and at the age that’s a big deal because I didn’t even want to do my coloring homework. I also have learned that I work really well with other people.
One of the greatest accomplishments of my softball career so far has been the Ocean City Maryland Nationals Tournament. There were 72 teams competing for the USSSA Eastern Nationals Ocean City Maryland Title. My team lost a game in pool play, yet fought our way up the bracket with 10 hard fought battles, and even beating the #1 seed team twice in order to be crowned 1st place champions. That was such an experience that allowed me the opportunity to show just how much talent, heart, and drive I have for the sport that I love. I have loved softball since the age of 8. To this day, I continue to push myself through practice, games, personal workouts, and private lessons in order to be the best I can be.
