My name is Daphne, I am from Calgary, Alberta, Canada, but am currently playing at a JUCO in Colorado. I’m a versatile and hardworking softball player with experience across multiple positions on the field. Athletics have been a major part of my life from a young age, beginning with gymnastics, which helped develop my agility, discipline, body control, and strong work ethic. Eventually, I transitioned into team sports through softball, and I’ve never looked back.
Softball and baseball have always been in my blood. My family has always revolved around the game, and the sport has played a huge role in shaping who I am. Growing up around baseball inspired my love for competition and teamwork. I started my softball career as a catcher, where I learned leadership, communication, and game management early on. Throughout high school, I expanded my game by moving into middle infield and third base, developing versatility and confidence wherever my team needed me most. I’m currently playing outfield at Lamar Community College, where I just received the Heart of the Team award in my freshman year.
I take pride in being coachable, adaptable, hardworking, and team-focused, and I’m always looking for opportunities to improve both on and off the field. My goal is to transfer to a 4-year institution where I can compete at a high level, contribute to a strong team culture, and continue growing as both a student and athlete.
