My names is Kamryn Coombs, I’m 5’5 and about 150 lbs. Within my freshmen year I haven’t got to play much softball due to the pandemic, but I’ve been playing baseball for a total of seven years both hardball and softball. My most recent year played (2020), I was one of my teams catchers and a third basemen as well. I play tear one softball within the PWSA league. Growing up and watching my brothers play baseball is how I truly got into the sport, but when I switched to softball I knew that was where I was meant to be! There’s nothing I don’t love about the sport, which allowed me to set my goals high. As difficult as it may be for a small town girl like myself, I aspire to play softball in post secondary school. For I have never been one to turn down a challenge without a fight. I consider myself to be a hard working on and off the field, I have proven such by maintaining an honour roll GPA while meeting all of my athletic commitments included both AA hockey and my softball. I do personal as well as team development training all year around. Again, unfortunately I have not been able to participate in high school sports due to the pandemic... but I truly look forward to all the opportunities, as they become available in the coming years.
