Kamryn Lane '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Kamryn Lane. I am a 2025 graduate from Notre Dame high school in Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. I have been playing softball since I was 9 years old. I am proud to say that I have always played "A" level. I believe this accomplishment, is due to my dedication to train hard and give the sport every thing that I can give, plus more. My primary position is catcher, however my knowledge of the game and my strong foundational skills have allowed me to excel at my secondary positions as a corner infielder (3rd and 1st base). Being a team player and my desire to compete has allowed me to go far in softball as well as the many other sports that I have played such as, volleyball, basketball, hockey, badminton and soccer. 

I am also proud to say my success hasn't only been in athletics, but also in my academics. I am currently an honor role student with distinction (above 90% average) for each grade semester since completing elementary school. I am enrolled in all of the highest academic classes in my high school and my goal is to maintain this until graduating Grade 12. My future goals include attending a university/college in the field of Kinesiology while playing high level ball during my university/college years.
