Kylee Banerd '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

My name is Kylee Banerd and I am from Saskatoon, SK. Canada. I am 16 years old and currently a Grade 11 student at Centennial Collegiate.  

I am a catcher and currently playing winter travel ball with the 222 Fastpitch Team.  During the summer, I play 'AA' ball with the Saskatoon Hustlers where I primarily a catcher and when I'm not behind the plate I am a utility player that can play any position.   

My goal after I graduate high school is to get a USA softball scholarship where I would like to study Business Administration or go into Education.   

When I am not at the ball diamonds or in the gym training, I also play competitive Ringette with the Saskatoon U19AA Blazers.  I was very fortunate to be selected to represent Team Sask at the Canada Winter Games in Prince Edward Island in February 2023 where our team won a Bronze Medal.  During the Canada Winter Games, I was very fortunate to be the leading point leader of the tournament. 

As an athlete, I believe my hard work on and off the field and willingness to learn and take direction from coaches is a strong asset to my game. My strong work ethic on the field continues into the classroom as my focus is to maintain high quality grades and have my education a main priority.
