Lexi Johnston '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lexi and I’m a 2026 graduate. I’ve lived in Calgary, Alberta, Canada my entire life and have been playing softball since I was four years old. I’ve always wanted to leave home and continue to play softball competitively in college. I currently attend the National Sports School, and I'm able to train with the JM Elite Softball Program associated with my school. This is my 7th year of club/travel ball and I play on the top travel team for the Calgary Adrenaline Softball at the U19A (18U) level.

On the field I am competitive, quick, coachable, and hard working. I love getting feedback from my coaches and using it to help make me become a better player and person. I feel like I’m a leader on and off the diamond and always try to spread positivity amongst my teammates. 

Putting in the extra work is what makes me a better athlete and player. I enjoy going to the gym before school in the mornings around three to four times a week. I’ve been doing mental training for quite a while now and it has helped me become mentally strong when playing softball. In the classroom, I’m determined in my academics and always work hard to achieve excellent grades and pursue a business degree in post-secondary.
