Personal Statement

My name is Mikka Spence and I’m a 2025 graduate. I’m a right handed pitcher and 3rd basemen, as well as an utility player. I’ve been playing softball since the age of 6. My main goal has always been to play for the highest level of softball I can for a university team in the USA, and getting my university degree.

I’m a very dedicated, hardworking, and ambitious athlete and student. This is one of the reasons I love softball. It pushes me to be better everyday and continually challenges me physically and mentally. It also gives me the opportunity to meet new people and travel all across Canada and the United States! I’ve been in Provincial finals and all the way through Canadian National Championships to come out with my team and win 4th out of 24 of Canadas strongest teams. 

I wish to continue playing the game I love through the rest of life and share my  skills and love for softball with other people along the way!
