Taylor Jackson '18 Recruiting Profile

My goals and aspirations include: 

• To receive the highest level of post secondary education in order to become a dentist. 
• To achieve my full potential in softball with likeminded teammates who are determined and enthusiastic
• To be exposed to higher level competition
• To be with coaches and teammates with different styles and strategies to expand my knowledge of softball
• To be able to experience softball in the USA and be apart of a school community 

What makes me different from other recruits is my attitude, dedication and leadership towards sports and daily life tasks. As an athlete, I am exposed to high demanding skills and performance which takes much determination and desire. I am an individual who is very motivated. I sets goals and am willing do whatever it takes to achieve that goal. As an Alberta softball player, it would be a great opportunity to play in the USA to prove that dispite the short season, no high school softball teams and limited local competition, that with determination you can persue post secondary athletics.  

Academically, I am enrolled in several AP (advanced placement) classes, along with full french immersion. In addition to school, I play three high school sports, and club softball.
