Hi, I am Kelsey Palmer, I am currently in 10thgrade at Jefferson High School. I currently am starting on our varsity softball team as a lead off hitter and center fielder .
My goal after high school is to make it to college, making me even more successful. In addition to playing softball I enjoy basketball, volleyball, track, drawing, playing the violin, and hanging out with friends. My goal as an incoming freshman is to give back to my community as much as I can. I am involved in many clubs offered at Jefferson including:
- Interact Club
- JHS Service Club
Some things that make me stand out from other recruits is my respect for my teammates, when someone makes an error I will always have their back and I make sure I bring them up. I am always up for a new challenge especially for something that I love. I used to be a right hand hitter, but I eventually challenged myself to become a left handed slapper. With my speed and accurateness I can be very helpful in moving base runners, and hitting gaps. I have been left handed slapping for 3 years and have been hitting away left handed for 1 year. I not only focus on my passion for softball but I also stay academically engaged as well as maintaining a 4.0.
